Accommodation

Pretoriuskop Rest Camp is located in the southern section of the Kruger National Park which is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, high concentration of animals and prolific birdlife. It’s surrounded by kiaat woodlands and savanna grasslands which is home to the Big 5 and an array of antelope.

Accommodation at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp ranges from budget-friendly campsites for tents and caravans and self-catering ensuite bungalows to family cottages and luxury guest houses. A recent addition is a tented campsite that is situated on the fenceline overlooking the surrounding leafy woodlands.

Itinerary in Details

Day 1: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park

We depart from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg by 07h00. It’s roughly a 5-hour drive that takes you from the Highveld on a scenic route down the Lowveld escarpment to the southern section of the Kruger National Park.

We arrive at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp mid-day; relax and enjoy the camp facilities until it’s time to depart for the late-afternoon game drive on an open safari vehicle, accompanied by a safari guide.

Please note: It’s a shared game drive and other guests staying at Pretoriuskop may join you on the open safari vehicle.

Overnight in tented accommodation at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp (shared ablution facilities).

Day 2 & 3: Kruger National Park

Depart early morning after hot beverages and rusks for a full day open vehicle game drive in southern Kruger. Return to Pretoriuskop Rest Camp late evening and enjoy a star-lit dinner.

Overnight in tented accommodation at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp.

Day 4 : Kruger National Park – Johannesburg

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then depart for a sunrise game drive. Enjoy a light breakfast back at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp before packing up and departing for Johannesburg. We arrive in Johannesburg late afternoon (approx 17h00).Includes: Breakfast
