You will explore the countries by road and fly to Zanzibar to maximize time and fun. Conclude your lodge safari and Zanzibar beach relax of the island’s white sand beaches. The safari has plenty of Game drives and outdoor activities in two different countries giving you the best wildlife viewing and nature experience in East Africa. Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
You will be picked up from Airport or at hotel and drive to the Masai Mara. The Maasai Mara Game reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains and is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and cape buffalo. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge followed by a short rest.
At 3:30 p.m., you will explore the reserve for the evening game drive where you have a chance to see predators hunt for their evening meal as the Maasai people who co-exist side by side with the wildlife drive the cattle back home. Later, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at MARA SIMBA LODGE (Full board – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast will be provided).
Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day Tour
Maasai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world and there is always something new to see. You will spend a whole day in the Mara, starting with a very early morning game drive at 6:30 a.m. as big herbivores are grazing. Large mammals are varied, abundant, and easy to see. Residents among the parks mammals are Maasai giraffe, buffalo, impala, zebra, topi, and both the Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelles.
You will drive back to the lodge for breakfast and rest of mid-morning at leisure. You can also choose the optional activities available, such as doing a guided nature walk or visit the Maasai Village to experience their culture.
After lunch, you will proceed for another afternoon game drive with more action awaiting you in the plains. You could be lucky to capture with your camera as a lion prey on a zebra and make a kill for her cubs. Spend a full day out in the great reserve starting with breakfast in the lodge. You will do a masai village tour as well. Later, you will return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Overnight MARA SIMBA LODGE (Full board – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast will be provided).
Day 3: Masai Mara / Lake Nakuru
Early breakfast followed by cultural visit to a local village to see how the Masai interact in their daily activities
The village visit is followed by game viewing within the park. Again, have your picnic lunch so as to spend more time inside the park looking for animals. After lunch, depart from the park and drive to Nakuru arriving in the evening. Check in to your lodge for rest and dinner

Day 4: Lake Nakuru / Nairobi / Tour of the City
Early breakfast is followed by morning game drives within Lake Nakuru the flamingo lake. Animals easily spotted include the white rhino, giraffe, buffalo, gazelles, antelopes and many others. If lucky you will see the elusive leopard which hunts and takes its meal up the trees. The lake is a famous bird lover’s paradise with flamingo, pelican, stork and other birds lining the shores of the lake. After lunch at the lodge, drive back to Nairobi arriving in 3 hours’ time for a driving tour of the city. This gives you an opportunity to see the streets of Nairobi, the shopping malls, and historic buildings. The tour ends at the famous Carnivore Restaurant where you have dinner. After dinner, be transferred to your city hotel for the night

Day 5: Nairobi / Amboseli
Breakfast is followed by check out and drive to Amboseli; on the way, you will see Mt. Kilimanjaro from a distance as you approach the park arriving after an easy 3 hours drive. On arrival, check in then have lunch followed by a game drive and photography session. You will now see Mt. Kilimanjaro closer by as you enjoy the game drives. Amboseli is known as the land of elephants because the park is patrolled by very large elephant herds. Other animals which reside in the park include warthog, black rhino, giraffe, zebra, hyena, lion and many others

Day 6: Amboseli / Arusha / Lake Manyara
Early wakeup call followed by pre breakfast game viewing for an opportunity to see the early risers before sunrise. Amboseli is also home to Masai tribe who are still very traditional and outstanding in their brightly colored attire. Visit the observation hill for a bird’s eye view of the park. Afterwards have breakfast at lodge then check out and drive out of the park into the bordering town of Namanga. At Namanga, you will get your Tanzania visa then be driven to Arusha Town where you will have lunch. Lunch is followed by a 2-hour drive to Lake Manyara which is famously known for rare tree climbing lions. Enjoy game viewing inside the park which is also known for migratory flamingos, pelicans, storks and many other animals and birds; evening transfer to lodge for check in and dinner

Day 8: Lake Manyara / Ngorongoro
Breakfast is followed by another morning game drive inside Manyara then exit and drive to Ngorongoro arriving for hot lunch at the lodge; lunch is followed by afternoon relaxation at the crater rim with magnificent views of the crater below. Your lodge is built overlooking the crater in spectacular scenery with most rooms facing the massive crater. A guided walk in the vicinity may be requested at the lodge reception

Day 9: Ngorongoro
On this day, you enjoy a crater visit; early breakfast is followed by morning departure with picnic lunch and drive to the floor of the crater. The collapsed caldera is home to many mammal species, birds, predators and vegetation. Animals easily spotted include the big five, giraffe, zebra, gazelle, cheetah and many others
Have picnic lunch at one of the picnic sites in the crater floor
After the tour you will return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner

Day 10: Ngorongoro / Serengeti
Early breakfast is followed by check out and drive to Serengeti with game viewing on the way. On arrival in Serengeti, you will proceed with game viewing as you are transferred to your lodge for check in and lunch
Lunch is followed by afternoon exploration and wildlife sightings of animals such as the big five, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest and many others. Birds are also plentiful in Serengeti. The Masai of Tanzania also live in this park or on the borders of the park with their herds of livestock

Day 11: Serengeti
After breakfast, the day is spent inside the park looking for animals, photographing scenery and tracking predators. Your lodge is located along the migratory route of animals therefore providing you with front seat game viewing opportunities. The lodge is also located near water holes which allow animals to come close to the lodge during the day or night for water

Day 12: Serengeti / Arusha / Zanzibar
Early breakfast is followed by morning check out and drive back to Arusha with picnic lunch. On arrival, be transferred to Arusha Airport for afternoon flight to Zanzibar Island. On arrival in Zanzibar be met for a hotel transfer to Blue Bay Beach Resort & Spa where you will spend your holiday at leisure. The resort is located on the Coast of Zanzibar with easy access to the private beach

Day 13 & 14: Zanzibar
Leisure time at the beach with optional activities such as swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing expeditions, kite surfing, stone town tour, spice tour and boat trips among others
