Day 1: Arrival & Stone Town Exploration

Morning: Arrive in Zanzibar and transfer to your beachside hotel. After check-in, unwind with a refreshing welcome drink and enjoy the tropical surroundings.

Afternoon: Begin your Zanzibar adventure with a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its narrow streets, visit the House of Wonders, see the Sultan’s Palace, and admire the intricate wood-carved doors that define the town’s unique architecture. Itinerary Overview

There is something truly remarkable about the Tanzania Luxury Safaris and the good Migration Calvin Season Safaris mass calving of wildebeest between late January and early March. Within a matter of weeks, most female wildebeest drop their calves during a synchronized birthing that sees the Serengeti’s southern plains crammed with over 400 000 young.

Approximations are that 8 000 wildebeest are born each day – that’s 300 every hour! While lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and canine surely eat their fill of those gangling baby gnus, the synchronized calving is an actual survival mechanism for the species: there’s just too much food for the predators to eat.

The wildebeest congregate within the Southern Serengeti Plains– the Ndutu Area and therefore the northern area of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). they’re attracted by the abundant fresh grass on the fertile plains and therefore the calcium within the soil, which is important for growth and is transferred to the calves through the mother’s milk.

Itinerary in Details

Day 1: Arrive In Tanzania.

On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport meet our representative & transfer to Gran Melia or Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. Later our safari manager will come for detailed safari briefing before leaving you to enjoy the invitingly hotels environment.

Dinner and overnight at Gran Melia Lodge: Beds, Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 2: Fly From Arusha To Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast at your lodge transfer to Arusha airport for your flight to Serengeti National Park. On arrival at Serengeti airstrip meet you safari driver Guide & transfer to Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge in central Serengeti for early lunch & some rest. Then afternoon game drive searching for Great wildebeest Migration & the big cats, late afternoon drive to the lodge for dinner & overnight.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kubu Kubu Lodge: Beds, Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 3: Another Full Day Game Drive In Serengeti National Park.

As early as 06:30 with packed breakfast box & lunch box set off for an early morning game drive in the vast Serengeti plains. Early morning game drive can allow you to see cat family on the road as the try to avoid morning mist. Depending on traveling dates you will follow the Great Wildebeest Migration herds & spend much time with them while anticipating to experience animal actions like hunting, eating, fighting even killing.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Four Season Lodge: Beds, Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 4: Serengeti To Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast at your lodge depart for Ngorongoro Crater & descent over 600 meters high wall into the Crater floor for wonderful game drive with possibility of spot the rare black rhino & the big 5. Later afternoon drive out & to Lion’s Paws Camp at the Crater rim for dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Guided Walking Safari In Ngorongoro Highland.

On this day after breakfast & depending on your flight time you can have a morning at leisure or a guided nature walk at Ngorongoro highland escorted by an armed ranger. This is 2 or 3 hours walk to the water falls & elephant Cave which is inside Ngorongoro Conservation Area. (Alternatively, a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park). After, drive back to Arusha to catch your flight to Zanzibar from Arusha airport ARK or to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight back home.

On the way you will have a brief stop at the edge of the Great East African Rift Valley for some great views of Lake Manyara & its forest.
