Mara Heritage Tented Camp Located about 20 minutes from the Mara River on the edge of the Northern Serengeti, the Heritage Mara Camp in Kogatende offers an ideal spot to witness herds of wildebeest crossing the river. Despite being close to this natural spectacle, the camp is far enough from the main road to provide a secluded experience for game viewing.
Set on a hill and surrounded by towering evergreen trees, the camp offers expansive views of the Northern Serengeti. It operates from July to November, during the migration of millions of wildebeest across the Northern Serengeti, with many aiming to cross the Mara River.
The best time to visit is from July through mid-November.
