Itinerary in Details

Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek

Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Windhoek. After settling into your room, take some time to refresh before meeting your guide for a detailed tour briefing. Depending on your arrival time, you may embark on a short guided city tour of Windhoek, visiting highlights such as the historic Christ Church, the old German fort, Parliament Gardens, and the bustling craft markets where local artisans display handmade crafts.

In the evening, enjoy a welcoming dinner at the hotel restaurant or at one of Windhoek’s fine dining establishments, where you can savor Namibian specialties like game meat or traditional dishes influenced by both African and European flavors.

Day 2: Windhoek – Namib Desert (Sossusvlei Region)

After breakfast, your adventure begins as you depart Windhoek and travel southwest toward the Namib Desert, one of the oldest deserts in the world. The journey takes you through rolling hills, rugged mountains, and eventually into the wide-open plains of the Namib. Along the way, you will pass through the small settlement of Solitaire, a quirky desert outpost famous for its homemade apple pie.

By afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge near Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei. Day 3: Sossusvlei, Deadvlei & Sesriem Canyon

The soft morning light paints the dunes in shades of pink and red, creating a surreal landscape that is perfect for photography. Adventurous travelers may choose to climb the famous Dune 45 or the massive Big Daddy dune for sweeping views of the surrounding desert.

Afterward, continue to Deadvlei, a white clay pan dotted with the skeletal remains of ancient camelthorn trees, some over 900 years old. Stop for a short break at Solitaire before continuing your journey to Swakopmund, Namibia’s adventure capital.

Upon arrival in Swakopmund, you will immediately notice the contrast between desert and ocean. The town is a charming blend of African energy and German colonial architecture, with palm-lined avenues, seaside promenades, and colorful markets. In the evening, take a stroll along the beach or enjoy fresh seafood at one of Swakopmund’s renowned restaurants.
