How to Get There

• The tour starts and ends in Arusha or Moshi.
• Travelers should fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), located approximately an hour’s drive from Arusha.
• Airport transfers to your hotel or directly to the safari vehicle can be arranged for an additional fee.
• Accommodation in Arusha or Moshi before and after the safari can be organized at extra cost.
• International flights must be booked independently, though our team can assist with guidance and advice on flight schedules.

Itinerary in Details

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha/Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to a hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Here, you can relax and recover from your flight. In the late afternoon, a safari briefing will be held to introduce you to the itinerary, discuss safety protocols, and provide guidance on what to pack for the journey.

Enjoy your first evening in Tanzania with a warm dinner at the hotel. The city itself offers glimpses of local culture and small markets if you have time before settling in for the night.

Overnight in Arusha/Moshi: Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha in your 4×4 safari vehicle and head south to Tarangire National Park, which is roughly a 2–3 hour drive. The park is famed for its giant baobab trees, vast herds of elephants, and abundant wildlife. Tarangire’s river sustains a variety of animals throughout the dry season, making it one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich parks.

Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive. Arriving in the Serengeti in the afternoon, embark on a short game drive on the way to your campsite. The vast plains stretch endlessly, dotted with acacia trees and roaming wildlife. This is the heart of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of fresh pasture.

Evening at the campsite provides the chance to experience the Serengeti’s raw beauty. Enjoy dinner prepared by the safari cook and unwind while gazing at a sky filled with countless stars.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Wake early with a packed breakfast box and set off for a full day of exploration across the Serengeti plains. The early morning game drive is the best time to spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they emerge from their dens to hunt. The plains are alive with movement  gazelles fleeing, hyenas lurking, and vultures circling overhead.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, allowing you to maximize time in prime wildlife zones. Your driver-guide will take you to areas of high wildlife density, sharing knowledge about animal behavior, migration patterns, and the delicate ecosystem of the Serengeti.

Return to your campsite in the late afternoon, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s extraordinary wildlife encounters. Dinner around the campfire completes the day, with the sounds of nocturnal animals creating a truly immersive experience.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you bid farewell to the Serengeti. Drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping en route at scenic viewpoints over the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Arrive at the crater rim in the late afternoon. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular natural formations in the world. Set up camp on the rim, where tents are already prepared, offering stunning views and cool evening breezes.

Dinner is served at the campsite, and you can spend the night gazing at the crater and the star-studded sky above.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara National Park
