Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you’ll be greeted by your driver-guide. Transfer to Arusha for overnight stay and safari briefing.

Overnight: Arusha Lodge/Hotel (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend onto the Serengeti plains. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you head to your lodge or camp in central/northern Serengeti — depending on the season of migration. Watch for herds of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators along the way.

Overnight: Serengeti Tented Camp/Lodge (Full Board)

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti (Migration Tracking)

Spend the day tracking the Great Migration. Depending on the season, you may witness dramatic river crossings (Grumeti or Mara Rivers), massive herds grazing the open plains, or predator action as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs follow the migration. This is truly one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth.

Overnight: Serengeti Tented Camp/Lodge (Full Board)

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before driving towards Ngorongoro. Stop at viewpoints along the way and, if time allows, visit a Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge. Arrive at the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge (Full Board)

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Departure

Descend 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. With its permanent water sources and grasslands, the crater is home to lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. After lunch, ascend the crater and return to Arusha, where the safari ends. Depending on your schedule, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
