Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your driver-guide. Transfer to your lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight. This evening you’ll receive a safari briefing and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Overnight: Green Mountain Hotel (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. This scenic park, set against the Rift Valley escarpment, is home to elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.

Overnight: Lake Manyara Lodge (Full Board)

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Drive across the Ngorongoro highlands and descend onto the sweeping Serengeti plains. This world-renowned park is teeming with wildlife, including predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration. Evening game drive en route to your lodge.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Early morning and afternoon game drives allow you to witness both nocturnal and diurnal wildlife in action. Look out for wildebeest herds, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and an incredible variety of bird species.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you depart Serengeti. Continue to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Crater for a half-day safari. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater floor is home to lions, rhinos, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and hippos. Later, ascend to the rim for overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park – Arusha/Departure

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a final game drive before returning to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
