Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Africa Joy Safaris guide will collect you and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. This scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive leads to a park famous for its elephant families, towering baobabs, and diverse wildlife. You may spot lions, leopards, giraffes, hartebeest, and an extraordinary number of bird species. After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the park, you continue to Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Full Day in Ndutu – The Great Migration

Today, you enjoy a full-day game drive across Ndutu’s woodlands, swamps, and open plains. During the calving season (usually February), hundreds of thousands of wildebeest give birth, attracting predators such as cheetah, hyena, and lion. Because the plains offer little cover, these intense wildlife interactions unfold in full view. After an exciting day, you return to camp for dinner.

Day 7: Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater

This morning, you continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often spotting giraffes along the slopes. By midday, you arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater floor hosts large populations of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, hippos, and more than 500 bird species. It also offers the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino. After an afternoon game drive, you return to Karatu.
