Your 7-Day Mid-Range Tanzania Adventure begins with an exciting journey through Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, including 3 nights in the Serengeti. Throughout this safari, you will explore breathtaking landscapes and encounter incredible wildlife from lions resting in trees to elephants moving through the bush and countless species roaming a collapsed volcano. As you continue your adventure, you will visit the world-famous Serengeti National Park, home to over 3 million animals. Moments of wonder will be endless, and with a bit of luck, you may even spot the Big Five.
Your 7-Day Mid-Range Tanzania Adventure starts when an Exodus Safari representative welcomes you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfers you to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or explore the lively safari capital as you prepare for the exciting days ahead.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive toward Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2.5-hour journey. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, thriving wildlife populations, and ancient baobab trees that dominate the landscape. You may encounter giraffes, zebras, bushbucks, hartebeests, and predators such as lions and leopards. Additionally, the park hosts more breeding bird species than any other place on Earth.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive. Later, you will proceed to Karatu for your overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop to admire the stunning views of Ngorongoro Crater. Then you will continue toward Serengeti National Park, entering through the southern plains.
The Serengeti’s vast savannahs offer exceptional wildlife sightings and provide a front-row seat to the Great Migration. Millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes travel across the plains each year in search of fresh grazing. Depending on the season, your accommodation may be adjusted to position you closer to the migrating herds.

Today, you will explore the Serengeti’s diverse terrain and incredible wildlife. You will enjoy another full day in the Serengeti. You may choose an early morning game drive to catch predators in action, return to camp for lunch, and then head out again in the afternoon. After breakfast, you will enjoy one last sunrise game drive in the Serengeti before traveling to Ngorongoro Crater. Formed over two million years ago, the crater supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife. Here, you may see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hyenas, cheetahs, and with luck, the endangered black rhino. After a game drive and picnic lunch, you will return to Karatu for the night.

Your 7-Day Mid-Range Tanzania Adventure concludes with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park. This compact yet diverse park sits below the towering Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, thousands of flamingos, and rich birdlife. Its forests shelter elephants, baboons, and blue monkeys, while the plains attract buffalos, giraffes, and zebras.
After a picnic lunch in the park, you will return to Arusha and be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha Airport, or another preferred location.
