Day 1: Arrival in Arusha start your 7-Day Mid-Luxury Stay on Crater Rim

Welcome to Tanzania! Your Exodus Safari representative will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, relax and prepare for your safari adventure. Arusha is an essential hub for northern safari travelers, offering a lively introduction to Tanzanian life.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2.5 hours on good tarmac roads. The Tarangire River sustains wildlife during the dry season. See elephant families, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators like lions and leopards roam nearby. Tarangire also hosts the largest variety of breeding bird species in Tanzania. Marvel at ancient baobab trees, some over a thousand years old. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before heading to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
