This 7-Day Mid-Luxury Epic Adventure takes you through some of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, including the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Throughout the journey, you enjoy a blend of mid-range and luxury accommodations. You’ll also witness breathtaking wildlife across diverse landscapes lions in trees, elephants moving through the bush, and countless animals roaming a massive volcanic caldera. With a bit of luck, your 7-Day Mid-Luxury Epic Adventure will include unforgettable encounters with the Big Five.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Start of Your 7-Day Mid-Luxury Epic Adventure

Welcome to Tanzania! An Exodus Safari representative will meet you at the airport and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Since Arusha is the safari hub of northern Tanzania, most travelers pass through this lively city.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Exodus Safari guide will pick you up for the drive to Tarangire National Park. The two-and-a-half-hour transit leads you to the land of giant baobabs and massive elephant herds. Since the Tarangire River is the only water source during the dry season, wildlife gathers along its banks, creating excellent viewing opportunities. You may see giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species. After lunch at a picnic site inside the park, you continue your game drive before heading to Karatu.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you drive into the cooler highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll stop briefly to admire the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater before continuing toward Serengeti National Park. As you enter from the south, you witness vast open grasslands and incredible wildlife. Although the Serengeti is rich in animals year-round, it is best known for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes move in search of greener pastures.

Day 4: Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

This full day is dedicated to exploring Serengeti’s incredible wildlife. The park hosts impalas, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, and several predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Depending on the Migration’s movement, you may travel beyond the central region for a chance to witness this world-famous natural wonder.

Day 5: Another Day Exploring the Serengeti

Today offers another opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the Serengeti. You may choose early morning and late afternoon drives for a relaxed pace, returning to camp for lunch. Since the Serengeti always surprises visitors, every game drive reveals something new.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more wildlife sightings along the way. The crater, formed millions of years ago by a collapsed volcano, shelters diverse habitats savannah, acacia woodlands, lakes, and swamps. As you descend into the crater, you encounter herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. Because the crater provides a protected environment, it offers one of the best chances to see the endangered black rhino.

After a full afternoon in the crater, you continue to Karatu for dinner and rest.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park – Final Day of Your 7-Day Mid-Luxury Epic Adventure

This morning, you head to Lake Manyara National Park, the final stop of your 7-Day Mid-Luxury Epic Adventure. Although compact, the park is incredibly diverse, with forests, hot springs, a soda lake, and steep escarpments. You may see baboons, elephants, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. After enjoying a picnic lunch, your guide will drop you at your preferred location Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport, or Arusha Airport.
