Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Start of Your 7-Day Luxury All-Inclusive Epic Safari

Welcome to Tanzania! An Africa Joy Tours representative will meet you at the airport and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Since Arusha is the heart of Northern Tanzania’s safari network, it naturally becomes the starting point for most travelers.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – First Adventure of the 7-Day Luxury All-Inclusive Epic

After breakfast, your guide will collect you for the drive to Tarangire National Park. This park introduces you to Tanzania’s wildlife, especially its impressive elephant herds. During the dry season, you will often see wildlife gathering near the Tarangire River to drink or cool off. The park also hosts over 500 bird species, and its iconic baobab trees dominate the landscape. After your game drive, you continue to your luxury lodge near the park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Discover More Wonders

After an early breakfast, you travel to Lake Manyara National Park. This compact yet diverse park offers incredible scenery, ranging from the Rift Valley soda lake to dense forests and steep escarpments. Along the way, you may spot tree-climbing lions, elephant herds, buffalo, giraffes, and migrating birds. After a full day of adventure, you drive to your luxury lodge in Karatu.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Entering the Legendary Plains

After breakfast, you ascend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping to admire the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. You then continue toward the Serengeti, entering from the southern side. Because of its vast grasslands, the Serengeti offers excellent wildlife sightings. It is also home to the world-famous Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes move in search of fresh grazing.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in the Serengeti

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. You may enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives, or alternatively, spend a full day inside the park with a packed picnic lunch. Because this ecosystem has remained untouched for millions of years, it offers some of the best predator sightings, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you travel from the Serengeti to the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. Once a massive volcano, the crater is now the world’s largest intact caldera. As you descend, you immediately find yourself among large herds of zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. With some luck, you may spot the endangered black rhino grazing in the open grasslands. After exploring the crater, you head to Karatu for your overnight stay.
