This safari covers the top wildlife parks in Kenya: Masai Mara is a large game reserve famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs and its annual migration of zebra & wildebeest which occurs from July to October. Lake Nakuru, found in Central Kenya has an elevation of 1754 meters above sea level and is known for the presence of the big five and bird’s sanctuary. Amboseli, on the other hand, is known for the large herds of elephants and its stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early in the morning, you will be picked up in Nairobi by the driver/guide and provide a briefing on your safari before we depart for Maasai Mara.
Great Rift Valley and lunch stop-over
Travel time to Mara will take around 5-6 hrs. Along the way, there will be a stop over at the Great Rift Valley where you can take photos of the sheer drop of the Rift Valley, as well as the nearby Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot. There will also be a stop-over at Narok Town for lunch where a simple buffet of traditional Kenyan foods await.
Upon arrival at Mara, you can settle in and rest before proceeding to an afternoon game drive at Maasai Mara National Reserve. Accommodation: Rhino Touirist Camp

Day 2: Full day exploring Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, you will leave for a full day game drive in Maasai Mara National Park. This is home to over 3 million large mammals. Our experienced tour guide/ driver will take you in search for the famous Big 5 among other animals: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Hyena, Cheetah, Jackal, Warthog, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope wildebeest, and various bird species. Picnic lunch will be served at Mara River as you witness the famous migration. Accommodation: Rhino Touirist Camp

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park To Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru with game drive en route. Picnic lunch will be served. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru early in the evening in time for dinner. Accommodation will be at Golden Palace Resort.
Lake Nakuru is a renowned paradise for Bird Watchers with its high population of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos which form a very beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lake shore. Apart from these flamingos, there are also over 400 species of birds visiting the lake. Animals can also be sighted in the park including the Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and several other species of plains game. Accommodation: Golden Palace Resort

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli
Early in the morning, we will once again embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru and feast your eyes with sightings of flamingos, often referred to as the “Pink Lake”. If you’re lucky, you might also see small game such as Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo within the garden’s surroundings.
After which, we shall return to the resort for breakfast before we depart for Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is the country’s international biosphere reserve with a huge ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya Tanzania border. The park has an endless supply of water filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro hence, Amboseli in Masai means “Place of Water”. Herds of zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, leopards & elephants will make your imagination of African wild life come to life. Mt. Kilimanjaro forms the backdrop of this game sanctuary. Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp

Day 5: Full Day exploring Amboseli National Park
We will set off for another extensive game drive, and bask under the sun while taking in the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, from Wildebeest to Giraffes and Baboons among many others.

Visit to a Maasai Village*
An optional visit to a Masai village can also be arranged. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. This visit gives a good tour of Maasai culture and you will be welcomed with a sing and dance presentation, which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is one of the most memorable experience to take with you.
*Entrance fee of 15 USD is not included in the package.

Day 6: Amboseli NP – Nairobi
We will start the day with an early morning game drive. We will then be back to the camp to have our breakfast before we drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped in your hotel or to the airport for your onward flight.
