Africa Joy Tours guarantees every departure with a minimum of two to four passengers. Once we have received your deposit, you safari will operate on the scheduled date with the itinerary and cost described. We will never cancel a safari departure or charge a supplement because there are too few people on your safari.

Africa Joy Tours guides are the best in the business. Our guides are full time employees, have a minimum of ten years of safari experience and only the finest guides are employed to escort our safaris. Every Africa Joy Tours guide is an expert game tracker and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history, geography, people, flora and fauna of East Africa, as well as excellent driving and mechanical skills. With a maximum of just four to six passengers in each vehicle, our guides provide a very personal service. Africa Joy Tours has a number of naturalist escorts who accompany special safari groups during the year and our “all inclusive” safaris.

THE BEST SERVICE ON SAFARI

Clinton Kileo at office monitors the day to day operations on the ground in Arusha and assisted by a dedicated team of safari experts. Our staff may be contacted at any time and every hotel and safari lodge has access to Africa Joy Tours staff in an emergency. Designated staff meets every guest on arrival at the airport, takes care of their luggage and escorts them to their hotel and assists with registration. Every Africa Joy Tours guest also receives a personal safari briefing and assistance with sightseeing excursions, restaurant reservations, shopping and confirmation of return flights.

UNLIMITED GAME VIEWING

Unlike most other safari operators, Africa Joy Tours does not place a mileage limit on game drives, so that you can enjoy unlimited game viewing activities. Our guides maintain an acceptable distance from wildlife and avoid crowded situations with other vehicles. By exclusive arrangement we commence game viewing at Ngorongoro crater very early in the morning, with a picnic breakfast on the crater floor and up to six hours of unhurried game viewing before returning to your lodge for a late lunch, allowing you to enjoy the Ngorongoro crater without the hordes of tourists.

THE BEST SAFARI VEHICLES

Africa Joy Tours is one of the very few safari operators in East Africa that still owns and operates our own fleet of custom built Safari Cruisers.

At Africa Joy Tours, your safety and comfort on safari is very important. You spend hours travelling and game viewing in one of our new Safari Cruisers. Each one is custom designed with an extra large photographic roof hatch, extra dust proofing, comfortable seats with seat belts and canvas covers, first aid kits, binoculars, a selection of field guides and a cooler stocked with bottles of mineral water supplied by Africa Joy Tours at no additional cost.

Every Safari Cruiser carries a maximum of six passengers so that every passenger is guaranteed a window seat and access to the photographic roof hatch at all times during the safari. Africa Joy Tours vehicle is equipped with a long range radio system linked to office and to different safari drivers.
