Bordering the Luangwa River, the northern and southern Luangwa National Parks contain some of the most breathtaking and untouched wilderness in Africa. The Lower Zambezi National Park is the newest of Zambia’s exceptional, undeveloped wildlife areas. And together with Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools Reserve the area provides a massive trans-frontier wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy nine nights in theses incredible locations for a fantastic price.

Day 1-5: Lusaka to South Luangwa National Park
Kapani Lodge is a comfortable family lodge situated on the banks of one of the Luangwa River’s many ox-bow lagoons. It is located close to the main Mfuwe area of the South Luangwa, one of the finest National Parks in Zambia.

Accommodating up to eighteen guests, there are eight brick and thatch standard rooms which are designed for the warmer weather with high ceilings, overhead fans and large gauzed windows. Each standard suite has an en-suite bathroom with shower and a lounge area with bar fridge and individual room safes. The ninth room is a large ‘Lagoon House’ which overlooks the Kapani Lagoon and is spacious enough to adapt for families to share.

The camp is on mains electricity and offers most modern facilities. A thatched building in the centre of the lodge houses the lounge and library. It is pleasantly cool in the hot weather and warm and cozy in the cooler months. Accommodation: Kapani Lodge

Day 6-9: South Luangwa to Lower Zambezi National Park
Zambia’s Lower Zambezi valley is one of Africa’s last great wilderness areas. Renowned for breathtaking scenery and incredible wildlife, it’s also home to Kasaka River Lodge.

Kasaka is a 20 bed luxury tented camp offering an authentic and memorable safari experience. Nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Chiawa Game Management area, it is set in a natural bush environment with each chalet secluded amongst the native flora, only 4 kilometers by road from the Lower Zambezi National Park.

This is the only stretch on the 2,700 kilometer course of the Zambezi River where one finds National Parks on both banks of the river – the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia and the famed Mana Pools World Heritage Site in Zimbabwe. Accommodation: Kasaka River Lodge

Day 10: Lower Zambezi to Livingstone
On your last morning you will transferred for your flight to Livingstone. Accommodation in Livingstone in Victoria Falls can be booked at additional cost or flights back to Lusaka are also available.
